Yesterday was a chance to try a combination of ingredients resulting in a super tasting shake or smoothie:
8 oz Almond Milk with 2 oz honey and a teaspoon of honey, 3 tablespoons of Hemp Protein, 1 tablespoon of Flax Seed, 1/2 banana. Blend until smooth.
And, today I got to try Amazing Grass! I made a smoothie with 8 oz Almond Milk, about 2 tablespoons of Amazing Grass, and 8 frozen strawberries. Awesome!!!
amazing grass is the best! how does it compare to boku?
Hi Kalli, Amazing Grass is pretty great. I can only comment on Boku as it appears on paper since I do have to get some to try. It’s similar to AG except AG has a wider spectrum of ingredients whereas Boku tries to split greens, anti-oxidants, and some fruit and fibers into thirds, 9 gram serving with 3000mg each of the different catagories.
I like the chocolate taste of AG and the probiotic blend and the list of stuff.
Boku is kinda disappointing right now since the company doesn’t seem interested in new customers from the blog world.
Their brown rice protein is nice for a powder that adds no taste, meaning it does it’s job and allows other ingredients to make flavor while staying neutral. Personally, I like hemp because it’s nutty tasting and whey because it whips up a bit creamy.
